What is TPD?

The Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) is a set of rules established by the European Union (EU) to regulate the sale of tobacco products, including vaping items like Victory Bar Salts. It came into effect in 2016 and requires all retailers to follow its guidelines.

Why does TPD apply to vaping?

Since Victory Bar Salts contain nicotine, they fall under the TPD’s regulations. This means any Victory Bar Salts products not submitted for approval by the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency) in the UK cannot be legally sold.

What are the TPD regulations for Victory Bar Salts?

  • Nicotine Limit: Victory Bar Salts bottles can only contain a maximum of 20mg of nicotine in a 10ml container.
  • Larger Bottles: Any Victory Bar Salts bottles larger than 10ml must be nicotine-free.

Victory Bar Salts and TPD Compliance:

Rest assured, all Victory Bar Salts products comply with TPD regulations. This means:

  • They have been submitted and approved by the MHRA.
  • They adhere to the nicotine limit and bottle size restrictions.
  • Certificates and documentation proving compliance are available upon request.

UK’s Future with TPD:

While the UK has left the EU, the TPD remains part of UK law, and all current TPD regulations still apply to Victory Bar Salts and other vaping products.
